CANNON PRAYER LETTER
APRIL 2016
Dear Praying Friends,
Greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Many of
you may not have received our last letter in January due to some
soft ware problems. For this reason, I will send it again along with
this letter. 2016 has been a challenging year so far. As I said in
our January letter I had dental surgery. This went well and I only lost
a few pounds in the process. In February, I became very sick and had
to have emergency prostrate surgery. It turned out to be a Mercer
infection. This took more than a month to get over. Our Lord Jesus
Christ is so good. While I was sick, most if not all of our eight services
were covered by our volunteers.
Please pray for more and younger laborers for the ministry here.
The Craven jail has over 200 inmates each week. This includes
five cell blocks that must be preached to at one time on Tuesday
evening. The ladies, under the direction of Carolyn, have one
cell block which usually has forty or more women in it. The
men have the other four cell blocks. Our longest serving volunteer
is in his mid eighties and is having health problems. Another one of
our men will need back surgery soon. This means that I have the
challenge each week of making sure as many cell blocks as possible
are reached.
Please continue to pray for Souls to be saved. We continue to see
men and women saved and growing in our Lord Jesus Christ as we
provide them with complete King James Bibles and Bible courses.
( We have given out three cases of Bibles, and ordered three more
Your prayers are needed more now than ever before as the rules
we have to follow have been getting tougher.
Your servant in Christ,
Joe Cannon
